State of Nevada Military & Veteran Spouses Employment Services, Benefits, and Additional Resources
The State of Nevada recognizes and appreciates the sacrifices made by military & veteran spouses in support of our country and understands the unique challenges many spouses face while seeking employment.
As an extension of the veteran hiring program, individual assistance is also provided to military & veteran spouses in the following ways:
• Identifies current openings and State positions that match well with the spouse's skills,
education, and experience.
• Answers questions about state employment and its hiring processes.
• Advises and assists spouses with completing state job applications to best represent
themselves
Additionally, program staff will assist in connecting military & veteran spouses to local and nationwide resources that may be of value and benefit to the individual.
